Showing and applying your creativity
My grandmother was an example of it. We can all remember some grandmother, or perhaps even mother who was always in the garden. Making her hands dirty by the rich soil full of life and nutritious, for all those beautiful plants to come. My granny, was unstoppable, always in the sun, always busy, it was her kingdom, her palace, her creativity. She could be working in her garden for the whole day, and she enjoyed it so much. It gave her energy, and it gave her motivation to grow. She kept replanting and adding new plants to her garden. Even though the climate didn’t allow lemons to grow in the Balkan area, she did get one lemon tree, and every winter she used to put it inside for warmth and protection. Those plants were her projects.
Some people paint, some create music, some write novels and books, some people dance, and some sing. Some people build houses, some people are making plans to build houses, like architects. We all have something that we like to do, that keeps us moving, like my grandmother.
But most important is that when we are in a creative state, we work on our healing. Our stagnant emotions can escape. We don’t feel worthless. We are in motion. We express ourselves through our voices, our hands, or our minds.
Older people can motivate us to be creative by watching them. They or somebody else can activate that idea in us that was already there.
We need our creativity. We came here to create and find something that can fulfill our existence on Earth.
Sharing our unique gifts with others is important, especially with our children. They look at us, they are like a sponge. We inspire our kids to do something, and lately, that is lessening. We sit behind the computer watching somebody else being creative. And usually, we get discouraged by watching others who are ahead of us, just because the information reaches us faster than ever, and there are so many talented people out there. Be creative for yourself, not for your neighbor, parents, or other people. Do it because you enjoy it.
I love looking into my children when they are in the kitchen, preparing food. Sometimes I help them, but it is lovely to see them, even if they are not so handy and make a mess. Even if the food is not perfect, they love what they have created and enjoy eating that food more.
I love so many things. One of them is dancing. I used to dance with others. I used to share and exchange my energy with my friends during dancing. It was all external. Now, today I experience music and dancing differently. I don’t really care anymore who is looking at me, do they like it, I just do it. And I let the music move me in a certain way, and what I receive in the form of a melody and rhythm, I can express that through my body movement. I somehow translate music into movement. That is how I would describe my way of expression.
Another thing is writing. All the emotions that had been kept inside of my soul and heart are being expressed through writing. It gives me relief and comfort.
I truly hope that you do recognize some of the things I mentioned here. You probably have your own way of creativity. And that is beautiful. Cherish it and let it grow. It is like a seed that you have planted. This does amazing things to your brain, and it enriches your soul.
And sometimes you start something, and you don’t have a clue where that is going to lead you, but it keeps you occupied and gives you the power to move on.
And sometimes you don’t know what to do. That is fine. Don’t worry. Get some rest, read a book, watch an inspiring movie, or go for a walk. Walk in the forest, or on the beach, or ride a bike. Get some fresh air. Lay on a couch and get some rest, we all have those days.
When you are in creation, it does not matter if someone is out there to compliment you or to observe what you created. Everything in life is being reported. Someone is calling it Akashic Records, which is shortly described as a big spiritual library with all the information and records of our existence.
I will not go into whether this really exists or not, it is about that we all have our records and files, and it has been seen and reported. So, in other words, everything in our life matters. In the spiritual realm, it has been seen.
Nurture your creativity.
Why you are here – purpose?
A good question. We all have the same. You remember those kids that you can see somewhere on the TV or nowadays on social media, kids that are even young maybe 2, or 3 years old, and they know exactly what they want at that age. They already play piano, or they know everything about the human body or electricity like Nikola Tesla. They are geniuses. They have different solutions for all kinds of problems, and they are just amazing!
We admire them!
But you may think, I don’t know who I am, I don’t know why I came here, what is my purpose. Most of us just step into the standard expectations from others and do and repeat the same thing as our parents. Why? Because it is safe and familiar.
Deep inside of us, we do know that we don’t truly want this, but somehow, we still choose it. Our soul knows the purpose. Everything is stored there. But who teaches us to look into it?
