Juice for liver

Option 1

INGREDIENTS

2 apples
2 cups pineapple, coarsely chopped
1 inch ginger
1 bunch celery
1 cup loosely packed parsley

OPTIONAL ADDITIONS

1 cup sprouts
4 small radishes
1 cup loosely packed
dandelion greens

Combine the apples, pineapple, ginger, celery, and parsley in a juicer. Choose any or all of the optional items and run them through the juicer as well. Enjoy immediately for the best results. Store any leftover juice in an airtight container in the fridge. You may also blend the ingredients together in a high-speed blender until liquefied. Strain through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth.

Option 2

  • 3 medium-sized red apples
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, loosely packed
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 450 g asparagus, ends trimmed
  • 1 cucumber

Option 3

  • 3 medium-sized red apples
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 kg Brussels sprouts ends trimmed
  • 1 cucumber

Option 4

  • 3 medium-sized red apples
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 450 g Brussels sprouts ends trimmed
  • ½ kg asparagus ends trimmed
  • 1 cucumber

Run the ingredients through a juicer. If you don’t have a juicer, use a high-speed blender until liquefied. Without added water. Use a milk bag to strain it.

Fresh squeezed orange juice

  • 10 oranges
  • Use a citrus reamer or juicer. For the hand-held citrus reamer, cut the oranges in half. For the juicer, peel the oranges first and then paste them through the juicer.
  • You can store it in the fridge for the next 24 hours.
